i find that it is different for everyone dear. my friends use the glue sticks and find they work fine but their friends use other,more professional products! ; ) i found this link and thought you might find it interesting...it is a discussion of different products used..What is the best adhesive to use for scrapbooking?
There are different adhesives for different applications. All must be archival. Go to the scrap booking section in your craft store to see the different products offered. The package directions will tell you what way to use them.
I scrap book alot, and I use creative memories kit. YOu could buy a sticky tape runner. They work really well for me!

rubber cement works for me.. is easy and you can remove the stuff in your scrapbook or change stuff around without ruining your stuff
