How do can one remove the adhesive residue from masking tape from a window?

I taped my whole window with masking tape to prevent my dog from making it discusting with her slobber. But now that i've removed the tape (which was a hard task), this residue is sticking to the window and i can't get it off.

Any suggestions? How do can one remove the adhesive residue from masking tape from a window?
I'm all for the razor, then clean the window with whatever you like. Vinegar is best. All the removers require lots of rubbing.

Try taping tin foil to window to prevent slobber They don't like it usually. How do can one remove the adhesive residue from masking tape from a window?
Scrape what you can with one of those little plastic things with a razor blade stuck in it and remove residue with rubbing alcohol.
i really like using a citrus-based cleaner like ';goo-gone'; it works really well for almost any tape adhesive.
rubbing alcohol on a cloth will rub the stickiness right off.
Try laquer thinner but watch how it strips paint off and the skin off your hands.
Windex and a single edge razor blade.
vinegar

WD40

a razor blade (made to get tape off things, found at most home stores.)
try vinegar like the others say and a cloth or razor.
try a product called goo gone.or acetone solvent
