How Do I Get Adhesive Smell Out of New Carpet?

My office just got new carpeting about two weeks ago. They put the carpet down with adhesive. For the past two weeks we have been opening all of our windows and doors as well a running air filters non-stop. The smell goes away for a few minutes but comes right back again.

Does anyone have any ideas how to get rid of this smell? It is making all of our employees sick. And we have tried contacting the carpet people with no luck. How Do I Get Adhesive Smell Out of New Carpet?
Try buying a few boxes of baking soda and sprinkle that around leaving it overnight or better still over the weekend and then have the office cleaning people vacuum it up later. Febreeze Air Effects might also help. Good luck. How Do I Get Adhesive Smell Out of New Carpet?
maybe the smell will disappear after a while,or perhaps you should get a carpet cleaning service to get rid of the smell, view 88db site for carpet cleaning services that might help take away that smell
Good ventilation and some air fresheners should do the trick. It is not uncommon for the glue to off gas for two weeks, but it shouldn't make your employees sick. They are probably being a little dramatic. The smell is not toxic and should go away soon. Just keep the windows open and turn some fans on.
