The strip is right over the dishwasher so I assume the heat from it un-did the original glue. What's the right adhesive to re-glue the linoleum strip on the edge of the kitchen counter?
Contact Cement!!!! That is what is used when laminate counters are made. To use it apply it to both surfaces and let dry. Then press them together and hold for a minute. Use a roller to make sure you get it fully pressed. Be careful you only get one chance. What's the right adhesive to re-glue the linoleum strip on the edge of the kitchen counter?
Go with the contact cement.
Use heat resistance silicon glue. Its the best solution. I use that for mine.
gel super glue or gorilla glue. both of these should hold it down fine, and are available in any hardware or home improvement store.
I've had great results with gel-type super glue. It fills the gaps between the formica and the the substrate, and sets quickly.
