How do I get adhesive off ceramic tile?

We're tiling our house and some adhesive dried on tiles. What do I use to get the stuff off without scratching the tiles? How do I get adhesive off ceramic tile?
Try nail polish remover, and if that doesn't work, then paint thinner. How do I get adhesive off ceramic tile?
If the meths(denatured alcohol) doesn`t work you can buy glue remover from hardware stores.
Ceramic doesnt scratch as easy as one might think. I've used Aquamix's Sealer and Adhesive remover more time than not. otherwise i just scrap it gently off with a plastic squeegy.

Good Luck

bellzie
rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover
I just took 30-year-old adhesive off 13 pine stair treads. I took me hours and a lot of elbow grease and rags. I went to the hardware store and bought three different glue softener/removers each with a different chemical base. The fan was on at the base of the stairwell for ventilation because the smell can overwhelm!

Wear rubber or latex gloves. Have plenty of rags handy and toss the rags when you're done rather than try to wash them. Often the chemicals do not wash out of the cloth completely and have been reported to have caused fires when drying in a hot dryer.

Whatever chemical you use, be mindful that it'll likely eat your grout (assuming that you grouted before removing the adhesive).

I personally would save time and money by returning to the store where you purchased the adhesive, and ask what the most effective agent would be. You don't even have to take the can because it'll be on the shelf should you need to refer to it.
use rubbing alcohol
goo-gone or a hairdryer
Liquid lighter fluid works faster than nail polish remover, and is cleaner than rubbing alcohol
a razor blade works well.

just be careful no to scratch it
