What is the best glue or adhesive to use in place of the stitching on the upper parts of leather shoes?

If the factory stitching between a small section of the side and the top comes loose, leaving a hole, and there aren't any shoe repair shops in town anymore. Someone has mentioned ';Barge Cement';, but I haven't seen where you can buy it.What is the best glue or adhesive to use in place of the stitching on the upper parts of leather shoes?
Contact cement. Put the glue on both surfaces. Keep them apart until the glue dries. Now press the two pieces together. Make sure to line everything up before making contact. Once this sticks it cannot be moved.What is the best glue or adhesive to use in place of the stitching on the upper parts of leather shoes?
gorilla glue or epoxy glue is really durable.
